The name Refuge was created by the youth and adults here at First Baptist Church as the name for our youth group. It comes from the passage in Psalms 18:2 where the psalmist writes, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge. . ." Without a doubt, we as Christians can go to God when we are seeking refuge from this crazy world. This is exactly what God has been able to create here at First Baptist Church.
