| At FBC, we reach out to our community to share the Gospel through a variety of events such as Trunk-or-Treat, our Kid's Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt, our CityKids ministry, our Easter and Christmas musical events, and other ways of inviting those in our community to come experience the Gospel through worship and fellowship. Our CityKids ministry reaches out in particular to neighborhoods in the downtown area that house children who are in potentially greater need of the love, care, and blessing that comes in hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and seeing the Gospel acted out.
Every ministry at First Baptist Church is evangelistic in that every ministry seeks to share the Good News of God's love in Christ. Through worship, Bible Study, children's activities, youth mission trips, and adult ministries, we seek to share God's message with others. We also teach that sharing the love of Christ with others is part of what it means to be a discpile of Jesus.
