Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Phillip Reynolds, began his ministry with us in April, 2011.  Phillip has been in ministry since 1985 and has served as a pastor in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Mississippi, before returning to NC as Senior Pastor of FBC in 2011.  He has an BA degree in English Literature from the University of South Carolina, a Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from The Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA.  He has contributed to two books, Witness of a Fragile Servant and Preaching for the Missional Journey.

Phillip is originally from Sumter County, South Carolina. He married his high school sweetheart, Betsy, in 1978.  They have four children and four grandchildren.  Betsy has taught, coached, and served as athletic director on the high school level during her career.  The Reynolds enjoy exercise and physical activity and regularly compete in road races, triathlons, and marathons.  Phillip also enjoys hunting and fishing.
